The Sun in the middle of the logo indicates ‘The Supreme and Everlasting Natural Power’. The red colour is symbolic of “Positive Energy” while the golden colour indicates “Zenith / Pinnacle” we reach out to, to aspire values.

Physical activities at Atreya Vidyaniketan are taken care with much fervor and passion. The physical development influences children’s behavior both directly (Games and Sports) and indirectly (attitude towards self and others). Emphasis on regular exercise and physical fitness, yoga, gardening to develop their physical development are done. An ideal concept for all our young sport enthusiasts, this fold is a right arena under the supervision of a professional. We insist on every child partaking in any form of physical activity and benefit each other as a team player or individually in an independent sport. Our aim is the development of this comprehensive programme for physical education, providing activities which incorporate and develop movement, mobility, control, health, fitness, strength, stamina, challenge and body skills.
Atreya Vidyaniketan believes in making practical citizens trained to face the challenges of the fast changing global environment, but with a strong moral grounding by instilling into the children positive values and culture. Children are helped to embrace right values, of rights and wrong, fortify their faculty of discrimination and of judgment to make the right choices. As children’s second home, our institution imparts education, hones their behavioral pattern, applauds the positive and helps children analyze and curb the negative. Our children walk into life with an explicit thinking and behavior that will remain theirs throughout life.

Through a democratic approach in the classroom we ensure the proficiency in qualities of leadership, patriotism, communication, co-operation and humanity. Working out as a team helps build a bond of trust and confidence and successfully aids in social adjustments. The children learn this and also live life as a contributing member of the school community. We believe that by fostering this at this stage will only lead the children into making our society of tomorrow a better place to live, harmoniously.
Our spirituality or our “still place within” is fostered by the practice of yoga, meditation, narratives, etc which leads to the development of an inner consciousness. This is not in reference to any religious practice but in the awareness of peace, love and wisdom - virtues of humanity.
