The initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister is initiated into the school environment by the CBSE to measure, the knowledge of the culture, and to strengthen the unity and integrity of our country. To make this achievable each state is paired with another state and our state Karnataka is paired with Utthara Khand.

At Atreya Vidyaniketan, since 2016, we have conducted workshop for teachers to make them understand the concept and introduce it to children.

Ek Bharat Shresht bharat is integrated into the curriculum where at least one lesson in each term highlights the facts, culture and heritage of Utharakhand. Facts about Utharakhand has been included into assembly activities in order to update the entire school about Utharakh and thereby keeping the concept alive and making the idea successful.
