As instructed by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India Atreya Vidyaniketan observes Swachhata Pakhwada from 1st to 15th September every year.

Swatchatha pakwada is celebrated to create awareness among all students about cleanliness. The focus in 2020, 2021 had been on awareness regarding Covid-19, the safety protocols and Covid appropriate behaviour. In-house workshops and resource people were invited to speak about Covid Awareness.

Under Eco club we conduct community cleaning project and our children bring awareness on cleaning by conducting survey in the neighbourhood, where the children talk and educate the people about cleanliness. Swatchatha pledge is included in Wednesday’s assembly to stress the need and importance of cleanliness. Hand wash day is observed under Swatchatha abhiyan in the month of October on global hand washing day. Resource people are invited to address the children about cleanliness and waste segregation etc.
